Art Basel

Art Basel, pronounced "art bozzle". Is an annual event that takes place in Miami, Florida in the US of A. This art exhibit is one of the largest in the world. V, Frank, Mado, and I all had the opportunity to take V's Ellie Mental and head out for the Sin City of the South East.

Some artists that were present (artfully represented that is), were: Picasso, Matisse, Dubuffet, Miro, and the list goes on...Artists

Most significantly, I was impressed with the art video lounge, which also sparked the idea, thanks to V, to go out yonder-or maybe as far as the West Coast, to check out the animation festival one of these days. Fortunately, the exhibit also catered to new artists that I have yet to discover, such as: Philip Taaffe and the other artists who like to live on the not so normal edge and/or maybe the edge that was created for the pure (marketing) shock value.

This post is underway...more developments and construction will be added in the near future.

I love Basel! One of the simplest ways you can use it is with sliced tomatoes and mozzarella. Drizzle olive oil over it and serve. Yum! And if you have a food processor, mix it with olive oil, pine nuts, garlic and parmesan cheese. then your Basel turns into pesto! great with pasta, as a bruschetta topping, as a substitute for tomato sauce for lasagna, pizza, etc.

There are no limits to what you can do with Basel!
